Finance Manager

The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal role within a global tripleA+ team, providing financial and management support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders. In this opportunity, you will interact with several departments internally, and with external partners.
The position will be based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Specifically, you will:
Develop financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
Assist in budget preparation and management activities
Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances
Manage company budget to maximize revenue and identify potential areas of cost savings
Manage cash controls, as well as ensure up-to-date book-keeping
Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers
Track Company investments and maintain relevant cash reserves
Ensure all expenses are within assigned project budget
Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, invoices, proposals, etc as required
Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely
Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded
Manage the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, expense reports, etc
Ensure data integrity in all financial reporting
Update financial records with recent transactions and changes
Perform financial analysis, reporting and management tasks
Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues
Develop, interpret and update databases and financial models
Qualifications
Results-oriented and passion to make things happen
Process-driven and impeccable attention to detail
4+ years’ experience in a leadership role
4+ years’ financial management experience
The Extras
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required (MBA preferred)
Appropriate professional certifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
